The First AV Tech Connect 2024 was launched in Dubai on the 14th of December. This event was organized by a group of Tamil AV enthusiasts with an intention of building a strong community of AV professionals. This networking event was an “Invite only” which was attended by close to 75 people from the AV industry in Dubai.
Since it was the first of its kind, the attendees felt very happy as it was a great opportunity for them to network with new people. The event was supported by a group of sponsors, including Ms. Façade Lighting Services LLC, Ms. COMMNET Systems Consultancy LLC, Ms Worldwide Network Solutions, and Ms. AVIPRO Technologies LLC, whose contributions were instrumental in its success.
The meticulous planning and seamless execution of the event were credited to a dedicated team comprising Mr. Senthil Kumar, Mr. Jameel Mohamed, Dr.Suresh Arumugam Pillai, Mr. Ramanathan Subramanian, Mr. Venurajan Sri, Mr. Durai Moorthy, Mr. Naisvyn lucas and Mr. Baskar Rajendran. Their efforts ensured a well-structured program that addressed key industry trends and challenges.
Key discussion topics included the future of the AV industry, with a focus on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and the Internet of Things (IoT). These discussions facilitated valuable knowledge sharing and opened doors to new job and business opportunities for attendees. Additionally, the event highlighted critical initiatives such as women’s empowerment, career guidance for AV professionals, and workshops aimed at fostering career growth within the industry.
The event received very good feedback from the attendees. Many expressed a desire for similar events to be held more frequently, recognizing their potential to strengthen the AV professional community and drive collective growth.
