Sun Infonet Symposium 2024
Showcasing Cutting-Edge Audio-Visual Solutions

Sun Infonet successfully organized the much anticipated Sun Infonet Symposium 2024 at the Hotel Conrad in Bengaluru, building on the success of the inaugural event in 2019. This year, the symposium was expanded to a larger scale, offering a platform to showcase cutting-edge audio-visual solution across diverse verticals. The event brought together entire AV industry and end-users to explore innovative solutions and experience the latest advancements in real-time.

The showcase of solutions focused on three key verticals:

  • Boardroom / Meeting Room / Training Room
  • Auditorium
  • Town hall

The event was attended by a distinguished audience of industry experts from across India with strong support from leading partners Shure, Meyer Sound, Allen & Heath and Quest Engineering for the solutions which were on display. The event provided hands-on demonstrations of all of the products tailored to meet the needs of these specific sectors.

The event’s highlight was the Panel Discussion, which brought together industry leaders such as Karthikeyan Kanniappan from SAP Lab, Antony Lovell from Shure Incorporated, Andrea Granata from Meyer Sound, Selwyn Fernandes from HMPL and Sachin Hallikeri from Online Instruments. During the Panel discussion there were great insights into where the industry headed along with tools like AI and in-depth discussions on industry challenges and opportunities. The open house Q&A session to the panel particularly appreciated by the attendees who had the opportunity to engage with the panelists on a deeper level.

The goal behind organizing this event was not only to showcase products but also to create a platform where solutions could be thoroughly discussed and queries directly addressed by OEMs, consultants, and integrators. Often at events, attendees interact with products but don’t have the opportunity to get their questions answered. At the Sun Infonet Symposium, we ensured that the panel discussion tackled the real challenges faced by customers and partners.

In the audio industry, the significance of a complete audio signal chain is widely recognized. The Auditorium solution was designed to showcase the complete Audio signal chain, featuring a diverse selection of products from Shure, Allen & Heath, Meyer Sound, and Quest Engineering, applied across a range of venues and applications.

A captivating live demonstration of Townhall Solution was also featured, where attendees had the opportunity to witness real-time operation. This demonstration covered everything from input stages with analog and Dante Shure microphones to signal distribution via the Allen & Heath system. It included solutions for priority inputs, split/combine room configurations, and sound reinforcement using top-tier speakers from Meyer Sound and Quest Engineering.

The solutions presented for boardroom, meeting room, and training room highlighted the importance of exploring various audio solutions to enhance collaboration and conferencing experiences. The symposium brought together professionals from the AV, consulting, and integration sectors to explore key audio concepts such as voice lift, sound reinforcement, and unified communications (UC) collaboration. Several audio solutions were demonstrated, including ceiling array microphones, table array microphones, and integrated camera tracking, all aimed at improving AV experiences.

The Sun Infonet Symposium 2024 concluded with a cocktail dinner, offering industry experts an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss solutions, and network with peers. The evening provided a platform for meaningful discussions on leveraging the latest technologies to enhance audio-visual experiences across sectors.

In summary, the Sun Infonet Symposium 2024 served as a dynamic platform for industry leaders, OEMs, customers, and partners to explore and experience cutting-edge audio-visual solutions across diverse verticals. The event offered valuable insights and sparked new collaborations within the ever-evolving AV industry.
