Vega, a global leader in audiovisual (AV) integration, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new office in Bangalore. The event was attended by Vega CEO Steven Medeiros and Vega India Sr Vice President and Managing Director –  Blessing Joseph, highlighting the company’s continued commitment to its operations in India and MEA.

The newly opened office is strategically located in a prime and easily accessible area, designed to foster creativity and collaboration among the team. As Vega approaches its 40th anniversary, the company continues to expand its global footprint, now operating in 30 cities across 19 countries. Vega has been a key player in India for 13 years, with approximately 150 employees spread across its main offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, and smaller presences in Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Trivandrum and Cochin.

During his visit, Medeiros spent valuable time with the Bangalore team, expressing his admiration for their dedication and innovative approach. He also met with partners and clients, underscoring Vega’s strong focus on the Indian market and its anticipation of accelerated growth in the coming years. As part of its expansion strategy, Vega plans to increase its team size in India, creating new opportunities for professionals to join the company.

In an exclusive interview with AV Today, Medeiros shared his long-standing connection with India, stating, “I have visited India several times and always enjoy coming here. My experience working with a couple of Indian companies that has given me deep insights into the local business landscape. India stands out for its work ethic; the level of urgency and quality of work delivered here is world-class. There was a time when India was seen as achieving only 80% of the quality standard, but now we are witnessing 105%.”
