The HP-POLY Partner Meet 2025, hosted by AVIDS Technology, brought together channel leaders, AV professionals, and technology experts in a dynamic event that celebrated partnership and innovation. Held on July 4th, the event served as a strategic platform for HP Poly to present its latest collaboration solutions while recognizing the growth journey shared with key partners like AVIDS.
The event began with a powerful narrative of HP and Poly’s technological heritage. A timeline presentation (see image below) traced HP’s founding in 1939 and Plantronics’ iconic role in space history—where Neil Armstrong’s first words from the moon in 1969 were transmitted through a Plantronics headset. The journey continued through Plantronics’ acquisition of Polycom in 2018, the birth of Poly in 2019, and the strategic acquisition by HP in 2022. This heritage now fuels HP Poly’s mission to redefine collaboration in today’s hybrid work era.
Uma Shankar, Founder and MD of AVIDS Technology, reiterated the company’s commitment to its channel-first approach, emphasizing transparency, technical support, and customer-first engagement. Dwarika Jha, Sales Director of AVIDS , expanded on this vision, introducing HP Poly’s AI-enabled solutions designed to simplify communication and enhance meeting experiences across industries.
Praveen, Channel Manager at HP Poly, highlighted AVIDS’ evolution from a modest partner to a valued “Synergy Partner,” citing their technical strength and consistent growth. Rajeev Kumar, Partner Business Manager, took attendees through the rich legacy of HP Poly and emphasized the brand’s long-standing dedication to innovation and customer-centricity. He reminded the audience that HP’s partnership with Poly brings a combined legacy of trust, performance, and future-readiness to every customer engagement.
Rakesh Tiwari, Business Development Manager, gave an engaging walkthrough of HP Poly’s latest offerings. The product showcase included the Poly Studio X and V Series—all-in-one and USB-based video bars optimized for every room size from small huddle spaces to large boardrooms.
Poly’s solutions support all leading video platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, and are compatible with both Windows and Android operating systems.
