AVIXA hosted the first-ever CTS-2 course, previously known as CTS Prep, from September 7-9, at InfoComm India 2025, marking a significant advancement in AV education within the region.

The in-person training attracted 33 dedicated participants, eager to deepen their knowledge under the guidance of AVIXA Volunteer instructor Rod Brown, CTS-D, CTS-I. The course offered a comprehensive exploration of Applied AV and the AV Project Process, enhancing core competencies vital for CTS® certification.

The three-day class was conducted in partnership with Harman Professional India, whose support was crucial to its success.

During the session, Ashish Bajaj, Director, Enterprise Sales, HARMAN Professional Solutions India & APAC, delivered inspiring remarks on the significance of CTS certifications while sharing his experiences in obtaining the certifications.

Jonathan Seller, CAE, Region Senior Director, APAC at AVIXA, addressed the participants and emphasized the impact of these credentials for Indian AV Professionals aspiring to advance their careers at a global level.

The CTS -2 course is part of the new launched Certified Technology Specialist™ (CTS®) programme pathway by AVIXA, with a raft of updates to its online and in-person training content. A series of redesigned, refined, and rebranded courses now make up the enhanced offering, delivering clear progression for AV professionals. The updates reflect ongoing changes in the industry as well as enhancing accessibility to a broader range of entry points into the world of Pro AV. The CTS program is the leading professional credential in pro AV, with more than 14,800 CTS holders worldwide demonstrating a valued industry skill set.
