The 23rd edition of the PALM AV-ICN Expo 2025, India’s premier trade platform for professional audio, video, and lighting, concluded today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, leaving behind a resonating impact on the global AV landscape. Over the past three days, the expo brought together an unprecedented convergence of cutting-edge technology, visionary thought leaders, and a vibrant community of over 25,000 industry professionals.
Organised by Informa Markets in India, the PALM AV-ICN Expo once again affirmed its role as the definitive event powering India’s transition into a global AV and entertainment technology hub. With more than 300 exhibitors and 1,000+ brands showcasing the latest in pro audio, AV integration, lighting, and production tools, the 2025 edition served as a beacon of innovation and collaboration.
From the immersive HARMAN Live Arena and Sonic Arena, to the Lighting Design Showcase and Demo Qubes, attendees engaged with interactive experiences that exemplified how audio-visual technology is shaping the future of entertainment, education, corporate communication, and live events.
The Indian Pro AV market, currently valued at USD 6.5 billion and projected to reach USD 17.3 billion by 2031, was at the heart of discussions, demonstrations, and partnerships forged during the event. Industry leaders highlighted key growth drivers including India’s Smart Cities Mission, digital transformation initiatives, and the booming OTT, real estate, and live entertainment sectors.
Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, remarked,
“PALM AV-ICN 2025 reflected the pulse of a rapidly evolving industry. As India positions itself as a $5 trillion economy, the demand for immersive and intelligent AV systems is transforming business, worship, education, and entertainment experiences. This platform not only celebrates global innovations but also nurtures local talent and entrepreneurship—unlocking a powerful AV ecosystem for India and beyond.”
Throughout the expo, more than 80 thought leaders delivered impactful sessions on both PALM and AV-ICN stages. Topics ranged from immersive event design and experiential tech trends to AV-over-IP, monitor mixing, and the convergence of broadcast and AV systems. Sessions on AI-driven video conferencing, DOOH, and the skills gap in the AV industry also sparked energetic discussions and collaborative thinking.
The AV-ICN Excellence Awards 2025 recognised pioneering professionals and organisations pushing boundaries in technology deployment, creativity, and integration excellence. These accolades not only honoured individual brilliance but also reaffirmed the shared commitment to elevate standards across India’s AV industry.
Adding depth to the experience, training programs like Certified AV Specialist (CAVS) upskilled professionals with hands-on knowledge, while live demonstrations from brands like HARMAN, YAMAHA, Epson, Shure, L-Acoustics, DiGiCo, and Robe gave attendees a first-hand look at the future of sound and vision.
Mr. Anil Chopra, Founding Director of PALM Expo, reflected on the event’s legacy:
“From stage sound and touring systems to large-scale AV integration and architectural lighting, PALM AV-ICN has built a culture of knowledge and excellence. This year’s edition especially highlighted India’s readiness to lead in design, installation, and production for global markets. The relationships, exposure, and ideas fostered here will echo far beyond these halls.”
The expo’s success was made possible with support from leading associations including AES, EESA, PALA, EEMA, ASIRT, and AIEA, amplifying the sector’s unified voice and collaborative spirit.
With India’s urban population expected to surpass 600 million by 2030, the demand for smart, integrated AV solutions across sectors is only accelerating. PALM AV-ICN Expo 2025 not only showcased what’s next—it invited everyone to be a part of building it.
As the curtains fall on this landmark edition, the energy, partnerships, and innovation ignited here will continue to shape India’s AV transformation in the months and years ahead.
