Pleneo Announces Hardware Ecosystem to Scale Simplicity Across Enterprise Collaboration Spaces

Pleneo today announced the release of its first hardware ecosystem, expanding a connected experience around its Room OS platform from standardised meeting rooms into larger, more complex enterprise collaboration spaces, including auditoria and all-hands environments.

As enterprises roll out AI-enabled meeting experiences across global room estates, many are finding that large rooms remain difficult to deploy and operate consistently. Variable room designs, inconsistent audio and video inputs, and specialized manual configuration continue to undermine room usage, management simplicity, and the adoption of AI-driven meeting experiences. Pleneo’s new hardware ecosystem is designed to remove this complexity by extending a single, predictable operating model across medium, large and specialty rooms.

“IT teams want large collaboration spaces to behave like everything else they manage — predictable, secure, and simple to deploy at scale,” said Shaun Robinson, SVP Product, Pleneo. “This hardware release scales Room OS from a single device to full room solutions, giving enterprises a consistent way to deploy and operate collaboration spaces while ensuring AI-driven meeting experiences have the high-quality inputs they can depend on.”

Room OS: A Single Operating Model for Large Rooms

For medium and large meeting rooms, RoomHub is the core of every Pleneo deployment, delivering Room OS intelligence directly into the space. With this release, Pleneo expands the hardware ecosystem around RoomHub to form a complete, Room OS–native solution for these rooms.

The new RoomVision camera range provides a native video input for Room OS–based meeting rooms. RoomVision offers 12× optical zoom with 1080p output for medium rooms, while RoomVision XL delivers 20× optical zoom and 4K output for larger spaces. Both cameras include onboard AI presenter tracking, AI autoframing, and support for IQ Director voice tracking, ensuring participants are captured accurately across different meeting styles.

RoomDesign Ceiling is a PoE-powered, networked 6.5” in-ceiling loudspeaker designed to deliver clear speech and immersive sound. Automatic AudioIQ room calibration ensures fast installation without specialist tuning, improving the in-room experience. The speaker is available in white or black and supports no-cut installation with an optional 600 × 600 mm ceiling tile grille.

Extending Room OS into Larger and More Complex Spaces

For larger or specialty environments, Pleneo introduces RoomAmp Pro X, an all-in-one Room OS device hub designed for spaces with challenging layouts or more complex requirements.

RoomAmp Pro X integrates room management, audio and video intelligence, Pleneo Cloud connection, and amplification into a single half-rack-width chassis. With 4 × 200W of switchable output (100V, 70V, or 8 ohms), it supports large, distributed loudspeaker systems while maintaining the same deployment and management model used in meeting rooms. Built-in Auracast™ support enables assistive listening without additional infrastructure.

Pleneo also introduces the RoomDesign Pro loudspeaker range of passive speakers in ceiling, pendant and surface-mount form factors, and RoomAmp Pro 200 networked amplifier to support scalable, multi-room and large-venue deployments.

Built for AI-Enabled Collaboration at Scale

AI-driven meeting capabilities such as transcription, translation, meeting summaries, and speaker attribution depend on clean, consistent audio and video inputs — particularly in larger rooms where reliability often breaks down.

By standardising room behaviour and ensuring predictable system performance, Pleneo’s hardware ecosystem provides the physical foundation required for AI-enabled meeting assistants to operate accurately and consistently across the enterprise – and enable these rooms to be deployed quickly, at scale.

Pleneo’s hardware ecosystem will be shown for the first time at ISE 2026, booth 2-R500.
