A&T Video, the 28-year-old Madurai-based leader in video collaboration, announced today its first high-profile appointment through the induction of B. Subbaraman as its Executive Director. Subbaraman, who brings over 30 years of IT experience to A&T, previously served as Senior Vice-President at HCL Technologies. His niche domains are Media & Entertainment, Life Sciences, and Healthcare. He established the HCL Technologies campus in Madurai in 2016, which has scaled to 7000+ employees now. Among his notable achievements are setting up HCL Technologies, Vijayawada, and spearheading the Tech Bee initiative — a unique early career program, the first of its kind done at scale across HCL’s nationwide campuses.

Welcoming him, Ashwin Desai, MD, A&T Video, said that Subbaraman joins the organization at a time when its growth plans are accelerating. He will focus on acquiring Fortune 500 clients and large government projects, leveraging his experience in scaling and managing large teams with deeptech innovation. The intersection of AI, India’s IT strength, and the government’s push on electronics will create huge business opportunities in the coming years.

Subba, as he is fondly called, said that he looks forward to the exciting journey ahead with the freedom to do technology breakthroughs to upscale sales in A&T Video. He will work on expanding the electronics manufacturing unit and developing innovative solution architecture for the healthcare, education, retail, and hospitality verticals using emerging AI in the AV industry.
