NETGEAR appoints Surajit Sen as Head of Enterprise Business for APAC

Appointment and 30+ planned APAC training sessions signal a deepened commitment to the region ahead of InfoComm Asia

NETGEAR Enterprise is making a series of moves that underscore its commitment to the APAC Pro AV market, including appointing Surajit Sen as Head of Enterprise Business for APAC. The company has also scheduled more than 30 regional training sessions for AV professionals and integrators across the region.

The announcements mark a step change in NETGEAR’s ambitions for the region. As Pro AV-over-IP adoption accelerates across APAC, NETGEAR is putting in place the leadership, education, and technology infrastructure needed to support integrators and enterprise customers as they navigate that shift.

New leadership for APAC

Joining NETGEAR Enterprise to lead the APAC region is Surajit Sen, a seasoned technology executive with a track record of building high-growth enterprise businesses across Asia-Pacific. Sen takes on the role of Head of Enterprise Business for APAC.

“We are at a turning point for Pro AV-over-IP in this region. Enterprises want intelligent, connected infrastructure that delivers extraordinary experiences – not complexity. NETGEAR’s recently launched Align Controller platform, combined with our expanding regional team and partner ecosystem, puts us in the right position to lead this market”, says Surajit Sen, Head of Enterprise Business, APAC, NETGEAR Enterprise

Sen’s appointment is part of a broader push to strengthen NETGEAR’s go-to-market capability across APAC. His remit includes growing the regional partner and distributor network, expanding enterprise sales coverage, and leading the adoption of NETGEAR’s Pro AV and SASE portfolio across key APAC verticals.

“Surajit brings exactly the right combination of enterprise sales leadership and regional market knowledge to accelerate our APAC business. The Pro AV market in Asia-Pacific is growing fast, and we are investing accordingly – in leadership, in channel, and in the education programs that give our partners a genuine competitive edge”, explains Pramod Badjate, President and General Manager, NETGEAR Enterprise.

Investing in the region: 30+ training sessions for AV professionals

Alongside the leadership appointment, NETGEAR Enterprise has confirmed plans for more than 30 classroom training sessions across APAC, targeting AV integrators, systems engineers, and enterprise IT teams. The program is designed to build hands-on competency with AV-over-IP design, deployment, and troubleshooting – skills that are increasingly critical as APAC enterprises upgrade their AV infrastructure.

Details on session locations, dates, and registration will be made available through NETGEAR’s regional partner and distributor network.
