The award recognizes the device’s expressive and distinct design, which combines unparalleled functionality, reliability and accessibility with an exceptionally intuitive user experience.

Internationally acclaimed recognition from independent experts

With a history spanning more than 70 years, the Red Dot Design Award is recognized as one of the most prestigious competitions in the field of design.

Since 1955, the Product Design category has recognised products for their high design quality, with the “Red Dot: Best of the Best” designation reserved solely for a few products that are truly outstanding.

Among submissions from 61 countries, entries were evaluated through a multi-stage evaluation process by the independent Red Dot Jury that comprises experts from industry, research, academia, media, international agencies and independent design.

Described by the jury as “technologically very sophisticated”, the DICENTIS Multimedia Device combines premium audio and visual performance in a single, elegant unit, making it ideal for spaces where integrated design matters most. Created for high-impact meetings, such as international summits, parliaments or boardrooms, it offers built-in redundancy to safeguard critical functions while intuitive features remove technical barriers to create a truly inclusive meeting experience.

On the technical capabilities, the jury acknowledged the combination of a high-resolution touchscreen, the tactile feedback, voting functionality and language selection features. It reserved special praise for the integrated microphone array, supported by AI-based algorithms as an add-on to the additional gooseneck microphone.
