Marking a significant milestone for India’s electronics manufacturing sector, LEDX Technologies has unveiled a new benchmark in Active LED display manufacturing with the launch of its fully automated, state-of-the-art facility on 9th January. The commissioning of the facility represents a decisive step toward strengthening India’s domestic LED manufacturing ecosystem and enhancing global competitiveness. Backed by Xtreme Media, the parent company behind LEDX, the Vapi facility reflects a strategic move toward backward integration, aimed at enhancing supply chain control, product quality, and global market readiness.

Spread across 100,000 sq. ft., the built-to-suit factory has been engineered around machines and processes from day one, with optimized floor loading, utilities, and a strict one-directional material flow that ensures efficiency, cleanliness, and safety. The facility is designed to meet global benchmarks of consistency, reliability, and scalability, enabling LEDX to serve both Indian as well as international – OEM, ODM, and system integration markets.
At the heart of LEDX is a fully integrated manufacturing ecosystem—from incoming material inspection to final ageing and dispatch. Its advanced SMT infrastructure, planned for five scalable lines, is equipped with top-of-the-line machines and operates within an ESD-safe, dust-minimizing epoxy-floored, climate-controlled environment, maintained at approximately 24°C and 40–50% humidity for precision and process stability. Fully automated post-SMT processes include conformal coating for indoor modules and automated sealing and waterproofing for outdoor products, followed by rigorous module- and cabinet-level ageing of up to 72 hours.
Quality is engineered into every step through a multi-layered assurance framework supported by high-precision Japanese and Korean equipment. This includes Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), controlled reflow soldering, IP validation, and in-house electrical, environmental, and corrosion testing—all focused on delivering long-term field reliability, not short-term performance.
