Christ University’s 390-seat Campus View Auditorium at its Koramangala campus in Bengaluru has been equipped with a professionally engineered audio system designed to support the university’s diverse academic and cultural activities. The solution was conceptualised by Ansata in collaboration with Waveguide, building on the university’s previous experience with d&b audiotechnik solutions.

The auditorium required a system capable of delivering exceptional speech intelligibility for lectures, seminars, and conferences, while also providing natural and balanced musical reproduction for performances and cultural events. Consistent coverage across all 390 seats and a discreet installation that complemented the auditorium’s architecture were also key considerations.

At the heart of the system are two d&b audiotechnik Yi10P loudspeakers serving as the main reinforcement, complemented by two U5 loudspeakers deployed as fills. Their compact form factor and versatility make them well suited to the wide range of events hosted within the academic environment.

Four CCL subwoofers provide controlled and accurate low-frequency reproduction, supported by their cardioid capabilities. The complete system is powered by d&b 40D and 5D amplifiers, providing advanced DSP processing, efficient amplification, and seamless integration within the d&b workflow.
